Directions to Indian Cove:

From the Los Angeles area go East on I-10 to Route 62 North. This exit is marked Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree National Park (this exit is often missed as it is only 5 miles past the hwy. 111 exit which leads to Palm Springs). Continue on Route 62 for approximately 28 miles to the town of Joshua Tree. To reach Indian Cove continue east through the town of Joshua Tree for an additional 9 miles. Make right turn (south) onto Indian Cove Road and drive about 1 mile to the Joshua Tree National Park Entrance (free entry).

EVENT INFO: Turkey 'n Techno Climbing Festival - Nov. 26-27, 2010

When: November 26th-27th Friday - Saturday Where: Indian Cove Campground Joshua Tree, CA Cost: Day One - $80 Day Two - $80 Both Days - $150 No experience necessary.

Turkey 'n' Techno is an annual event from Alpine Training Services. A celebration in the desert culminating with a great Thanksgiving meal on Saturday. There's rock climbing, good food, camping under the stars, laughter, and tons of fun! Both days are filled with endless desert climbing. Turkey n' Techno is open to all friends and families. There is separate climbing areas for kids and adults. Sleeping Bags, Pads, and Tents available for rent. All ATS events are drug and alcohol free.
